True adventurers can stay overnight in our Florida Everglades accommodations. Our rustic camping village includes traditional, native-style chickees (thatched roof dwellings). Choose from 2 single beds, a double bed, or waterfront Chickee. Also, dorm chickees are available and sleep up to 14 people (great for birthday party sleepovers). Join us for a day of airboat rides and swamp buggy tours, then stay overnight on your next Florida Family Vacation. Moreover, one of the best ways to experience the Everglades is to camp overnight, when the woods and wetlands come alive with a symphony of wildlife sounds echoing through the darkness. Most importantly, it will be a trip to remember as the kids will tell their classmates how they lived in the Everglades like true Seminoles!

Enhance your overnight Everglades experience by adding an evening package to your stay. For example, our twilight expedition package includes campfire storytelling and a twilight swamp buggy eco-tour through the night marsh.  As you can imagine, our Everglades preserve is filled with hundreds of animals, some who hide from predators under darkness (but sometimes we can catch a glimpse).  Also, daytime airboat rides, swamp buggy tours and live shows can be packaged for additional fees. Things to Know

Please note that the chickees have no electricity or running water. However, we have a full-service restroom with showers on the grounds of Billie Swamp Safari for overnight accommodation guests.

Guests should bring flashlights, towels and shower items. Sheets, blankets and pillows are provided. Furthermore, guests are asked to arrive before 5:30 p.m. to check-in to the gift shop.
